- destination - weight of parcel - dimensions of parcel - destination address type - destination area (city or rural [as determined by UPS]) - shipping method selected The cost is obtained from either USPS or UPS directly based on what items are in your order and the destination. As items are added or removed from the shopping cost, the shipping cost may changed as the weight and dimensions the website is estimating changes. We manually review each order when we process it to determine if the best method is being used for that order. Best method is a factor of cost and expected shipping time. If another method we feel is better/less expensive, we will change shipping methods and adjust the shipping cost. NOTE - if you require a specific shipping method and/or shipping company, or do not want us to use another shipping other than the specified shipping company, please let us know in the checkout comments. We prefer to do what you want us to do to ship your package. |
